Name Etymology

This page is basically a list that attempts to compile the root words and origins of all the English Pokemon names. Some of the names are easy to figure out, while others are more difficult and more obscure.

This list was compiled by my brain, various others who e-mailed me suggestions (whom I would like to thank very much!), and Bulbapedia and Wikipedia when desperate times called. If you have a suggestion or a correction don't hesitate to contact me (just note that this page is by far my most e-mailed-about page, so you definitely won't be alone if you decide to do so).
